support team.
The San Francisco office has an immediate opening for an experienced IT Trainer
who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the strategic vision for
IT training for the San Francisco office. As an integral member of the IT team,
the trainer is responsible for contributing to the overall success of technology
utilization. This position has responsibility for managing the IT training
function; including pre-employment skills assessment as well as on-going
employee assessments, curriculum development, delivery method, and evaluating
success of initiatives against training objectives for all levels of employees
within the San Francisco office. In addition, this position will have
responsibility for new training related to technology rollouts. Additional
responsibilities include leadership and management of the IT training function
including budgeting responsibilities.
Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 10 plus years of legal training
experience that includes at least two years in a lead role. Undergraduate degree
in a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Solid management
skills with proven experience building productive teams, excellent written and
oral communications skills, highly motivated and able to work with minimal
supervision, with advanced skills in MS Office and iManage (or other document
management systems), and working knowledge of adult learning principles.
Familiarity with the development of learning materials and learning
technologies. Strong organization, problem solving and multi-tasking skills with
a proven talent for thriving under pressure. Effective leadership skills with
ability to facilitate discussion between individuals with differing
perspectives. High degree of integrity and professionalism is essential.
